Though the food seems to be similar to the other Mexican restaurants in town, I prefer La Huerta for the service and atmosphere. I was there last week for dinner and there was a long wait. So Hermann, the host, brought my friends and I beer to drink while we waited. After we were seated, several servers came by to chat with us. They always made sure we had chips and full drinks. You never have to worry about slow service here. |

This is by far my favorite place to eat Mexican. I will say though that in the past few weeks things have been going downhill. Our orders have come back wrong, drinks wrong, cheese dip hard and cold, taking forever to get your bill. Also, the last two times we ate there people had birthdays. They workers came out with a bucket and a spatula and hit it so loud I thought I was going to have a heart attack. It was way over the top and simply stressful. There is also table that has a speaker over it and the radio is TOO loud sitting there, they get mad if you ask them to turn it down. |

Quiet possibly my favorite place to eat.
My family eats there on a regular basis and also many people I know.
I have NEVER heard any complaints about La Huerta until I have read the reviews on this page and in my honest opinion, the people that complained seem a bit pompous and are probably the type of folks that are just trying to find something to complain about.
