This is the best catfish and fried shrimp in the Conway area. Most places overcook the fried shrimp. But, the fried okra was a whisper away from being burned and the hush puppies were mushy in the middle and not interesting at all. Stick with the fried catfish, fried or boiled shrimp and the french fries. Not healthy, but a great treat if you've been good all week!! Excellent price for what you get!!

dust off yur ropers and slide into some overalls because you will need this getup to blend in with the locals.........and get a baseball bat and knock out a few teeth........all kiddin aside the is a good restaurant and yes all the food is deep fried......but hey what did ya expect....their cajan catfish is great.... |

The food here is really good. Unfortunately, if you note my screen name, I don't need to keep going back to the bowl for more. ;>) So I have to keep my distance from Payton's. (No I can't control myself)
For you fortunate guys and girls who can "eat all you want", this is a GREAT place to fill up on fish, fries and more fish and fries..... etc.
It's Gooo-ooo-oood. Really. |
