I love Smokehouse BBQ. Their onion rings are fabulous; I like to dip mine in their spicy sauce mixed with their ranch. The chopped pork sandwich is delicious and so are their burgers. I don't eat coleslaw, but the rest of my family loves the slaw at Smokehouse.
The servers are great and always friendly. I have never been sat at a sticky table like at other BBQ's in town. Mr. Owner sometimes stops by the table and says hello. |

Only been there once.
Had the chopped pork.
I eat a LOT of BBQ travelling around the state.
This is high priced mediocre BBQ.
Try the SHACK at the Morgan exit. Food is much better and the prices are reasonable.

Arkansas is lacking in good BBQ joints, which is sad, considering it's surrounded by Memphis and Kansas City. However, Smokehouse is good enough to compete with the big boys. Their mild sauce is second only to Central BBQ in Memphis. It is a mom-n-pop place that treats you well and I've seen the owner come talk to guests on several occasions. The price is very low, considering the high quality of the food. |
